infant program

Our infant program is designed for children aged 1 month to 18 months of age and is licenced to have 10 infants and three teachers. Educators plan activities that are age-appropriate and based on the children’s interests. We support infants to develop self-regulation skills and positive behaviours using redirection. We strongly believe that children learn by being engaged actively in play; the learning environment is designed to ensure the growth of each child physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and creatively and our educators engage in play with the children.
Our daily schedule is based on the needs of each individual child; children may eat, rest, and require diaper changes anytime throughout the day. Our children are served nutritious fresh lunches made on-site with only the healthiest ingredients, as well as morning and afternoon snacks. Infants who can eat solids may be served our on-site lunches which will be blended and prepared based on their needs and if requested by the parents. Infants or children with special dietary or feeding arrangements are fed following the parent’s written instructions. If a child has food allergies, the parents are asked to provide meal substitutions, as necessary. Our goal for infants is to nourish their growth.
