Love n' Learn Childcare centre is in Markham. We offer an enriched play-based learning environment both in our toddler and preschool rooms. Our daily programs are age appropriate and allow the children to explore, investigate and discover the world around them both indoors and outdoors. Each day our on-site cook prepares 2 healthy snacks and a hot lunch.

We have four separate rooms, each designed and set up for play-based learning. The environment in each classroom, contains open-ended learning tools that are age appropriate for our toddler and preschool programs. We have 2 toddler rooms and 2 preschool rooms.
Infant
- - Toddler age begins at 0 - 1 months of age
- - We support infants to develop self-regulation skills and positive behaviours using redirection.
- - We strongly believe that children learn by being engaged actively in play; the learning environment is designed to ensure the growth of each child physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and creatively and our educators engage in play with the children.
Toddlers
- - Toddler age begins at 1 months of age

This room like the others is designed to have designated areas to promote exploration and play inquiries such as book centers, arts and crafts, science, dramatic play, construction area, sensory, manipulative, and table toys.
Preschoolers
- - Preschoolers age range is 2.5 to 4 years
- - Preschoolers at this age begin to develop basic life skills, independence and knowledge they need
- - Preschoolers begin to make choices for themselves and start to learn about cause and effect
- - Activities are planned to support children's individual learning, curiosity, and exploration.
It supports the learning our Junior and senior preschool children who will be advancing to school. Our curriculum focuses on play-based learning, allowing the child to take the lead and expand on their interest by developing various learning experiences. This approach to learning along with the educator's understanding of child development helps to enhance the child's competence, capacity, and potential.

Our center is a NUT FREE facility. Our on-site cook will prepare meals that is suitable for each child's needs and will substitute foods when needed. We also have a vegetarian menu, along with our regular menu. Our staff and the center cook would be happy to discuss all food allergies and rest.

Our qualified cook prepares fresh food daily using only the best ingredients that provides meals not only designed for a child's palate but also fulfills all nutritional requirements necessary for growing children.
